Do you use the near UV filter for calming down the seeing? Thank you... no, the seeing in blue-violet wavelengths is the worst of the visual spectrum, but the granulation seems most contrasty at this wavelength. Red and green filters do help to tame the seeing better than shooting unfiltered.
