Planets and Open Clusters Coming Up to Sketch
      #3300434 - 08/28/09 05:23 PM

Saturday, August 29th right before dawn Mars is going to have a conjunction with M35 right before dawn. Anyone going to try to grab that and sketch? I can't as we are house hunting and not sure about the weather.

Also on September 1st and 2nd Venus will be playing tag with M44 in Cancer as well. Anyone up for that one? I think either would make a wonderful sketch of a planet with an open cluster.

Mortal as I am, I know that I am born for a day. But when I follow at my pleasure the serried multitude of the stars in their circular course, my feet no longer touch the earth.
