if i wanted to sell my etx-125 and my lxd55 mount with the meade autostar 497 how much do you think i could sell it for. its in great condition. i paid about $850 thats without the shipping cost.

They were selling the ETX-125PE (Astro) for about $650 New late last year. I would expect to get less than that for a used ETX-125PE. It depends on age and completeness of the scope, mount, etc.

hey Tim , yes i do love it. but i can't see anything where i live the lp is getting worse each year and i have to many trees. and i do have anyone to take me to a dark place to do some observing.
I'm thinking of selling all my stuff and when i move or something i will get back in. its just to frustrating right now.

I hear ya, bro. Times being what they are, I've toyed with putting my 125 up as well. Might have to if there's going to be a Christmas this year. *sigh* Don't lose touch with the hobby or the friends you've made here, anyway. Hopefully things will be better for us all some day.

hey Tim, well nothing is in concrete. i might end up keeping the scope and hope to get to better skies. after last night i was so frustrated but today i gave some thought.i really like astronomy. it great looking at the planets.

We were lucky last week; despite the waxing moon, we had clear (and unusually cool) nights for over a solid week. The clouds are back tonight, but we got a few really nice days in there.
Glad to hear you're keeping the 125. I'm juggling finances here as well, and think I will probably be able to hold onto mine as well.
