Is the Mead LX200 EMC also called the Classic. Just purchased one from a friend. Very new to this field but love it! With the GO TO feature How and where do I go to start star gazing. Where do I find locations of planets or stars or really anything I want to see. And how does the Go to feature really work. Thanks for any help.

Meade has manuals for all there scopes here: http://www.meade.com/manuals/index.html
I use the small field manual "Objects in the Heavens" by Peter Birren (available on Amazon.com)
Also install the free Cartes du Ciel on your computer, and download a free monthly star chart here: http://www.skymaps.com
http://www.stargazing.net/astropc/ Cartes du Ciel
you may also like the free Stellarium software- http://www.stellarium.org
Later you can buy "The Sky" or other commercial software.
