I can find NO information on the Meade website. It could be from the first production run of etx-90 OTA's and they put them on what they had before they designed the new mount. This mount is sturdy and heavy. One possibility is it might have been a limited production run for a particular market and/or client. For instance, there are apparently some white tube ETX-125's out there that were made for a government or military project that was subsequently scrubbed. The instruments were likely either liquidated in-house or sold as surplus lots to government auction houses. In any event, looks like you either have a rare bird, or a possible "Franken-Scope" hybrid that someone put together. I have yet to test the AC RA drive but I am currently looking for a field tripod.
