List of globular clusters
      #3339484 - 09/17/09 01:26 PM

Can anyone suggest a compact list of globular clusters accessible from around 40 degrees north? I'm sure there are plenty of such lists available by searching online, but I'd be grateful if someone could refer me to one.

Thanks,
- Tony

You can just skip the far-south-constellations clusters.

Thanks, guys,

I was looking for something easy to use this weekend at Black Forest SP. Both lists will be
very helpful.

Nice list - whilst in Antares area for M4 try also NGC 6144 nearby at mv 9.0 as marked in my wideangle image attached.

Hi Nytecam. The globular cluster NGC 6144 would not show for some reason. We did locate and observe 38 globular clusters through Tony's eight inch SCT. Pal 9 (NGC 6717) was one of the globular clusters found. A few others were blocked by trees around the observing field.
