How to piggy back using 2 sets of tube rings
      #3341332 - 09/18/09 12:34 PM

I just ordered a 120mm F8.3 and I want to put my 100mm F6 on top of it. What is the proper way to mate the 2 sets of tube rings?
Piggy back fashion.

So far:
Orion 100mm F/6 piggy backed
an a Orion 120mm F/8.3
on a Astroview EQ3 mount
with wooden legs.

Don't know if it is the proper way but here's how I did mine.

Orion 3.6CA Reflector
and 2 homebrew scopes --
8" Hubble Bubble ballscope
8" F/8 CHief - nearing completion

Thanks. I ordered a extra pair of rings for the bottom scope. Similar to what you did.
