If anyone is planning to attend the
BMAA Stella Della Valley star party
Camp Onas, Ottsville PA
October 16-18

I will be there to answer any questions anyone may have and also demoing the units.

Who knows, if you attend you may even be the winner of the autoguider adapter donated as a door prize.

Since Gene is relatively new to folks here, I thought I'd just drop a post in the thread since I've had some contact with him. Throughout the development of the support for the USB to ST4 adapter in PHD Guiding, he's been very professional and a pleasure to deal with. I know it went through a solid round of testing and the inevitable small kinks were quickly dealt with. All in all, it should be a nice, solid product.

I have purchased Genes' 909-APM clone unit for a Meade LXD55 mount. It fired up flawlessly and provided this old mount with a much needed ST-4 guide port as well as USB-Serial interface port (I bought a separatly purchased FTDI converter cable to utilize this port). Gene has been more than a fantastic vendor support. He treats his fellow astronomers as a family. I couldn't be more grateful to his detailed responses and extensive help he provided. He even made sure that my mount was functioning properly before I made any purchase. His response time in shipping was also amazing...I placed the order on Friday, the unit was already on the way to me on Saturday as I checked against the tracking number he provided. Despite being delivered across the United states continent, I received the item on Monday (2 days later). This was through USPS!!! Thank you Gene for your great product and amazing service. I would love to volunteer my time any time if there is any thing I can do.
