I think we're seeing reflections of more bushes (behind us) in the primary mirror.

It is a reflection of more brush opposite of the scope. But it does almost line up to look like that!

Here is my setup:

CPC800 with Astrozap dew shield; Celestron Motofocus; GSO 2" diagonal; Antares 7x50 rt. angle finder scope; Celestron bottom weight rail.

I also use Celestron binoviewers; Baader Hyperion 8, 17, and 24mm EP's; Vixen 30mm plossl; 20mm Vixen plossl's with the bino's; Orion StarShoot II CCD; Celestron NexImager; Orion glass solar filter.

All in all a decent little setup for my purposes.

Sorry for the poor picture quality, Scope setup in the storeroom. I absolutely love this scope. Does anyone have a cure for this disease? I am spending way to much money.

Cheers

Thank you! Actually I do have one addition of a Telrad finder. I think it works really well. I completed a successful alignment on my first attempt with the telescope (first attempt with any Go To telescope)...

I look forward to learning from this forum.

From the looks of things, John, I think the best "accessory" you have is that lovely Arizona sky.

And he does not have to buy a lot of gas for the lawn tractor...which means he does not have the work or the expense of cutting the grass so he has more time and money for Astro Goodies...
