M8---maybe next year. new
      #3346766 - 09/21/09 01:16 PM Attachment (23 downloads)

A rather poorly framed M8 Oh well, there's always next year...

Does the processing look okay? What does it need?

Nothing really, well ... other than a link to a larger non-scaled down version.

Really great shot. The only suggestion i have is to desaturate the core a little bit, and that will bring out some more detail. but other than that id say really nice shot

I don't have a webpage or anything to link it to a larger version, sorry.I will work with it some more and see if I can get the core to look better.
It was taken with an SBIG ST2000 through an SV102 and guided with an Onyx/SSAG combo on an Atlas EQ-G.
It's an RGB combo with no Luminance. I spent an hour and half trying to get my Lum shot to stack with the others in CCDsoft and I kept getting an error message "no pattern found". My buddy got tired of listening to me complain and jokingly told me to use another channel with the most data in place of the Lum. I took the red channel and played with it in Photoshop, stuck it in place of the Lum and that's what I came up with. So it has two red channels. lol! I really don't know what I'm doing.

Thanks for the compliments!
