I was reading about the AstroTech RC's (like the 6 and 8 ones) and they marketing material says it is for a APS-C size DSLR sensor.
The size sensor is smallish -- it is in the d40,d70, etc..up to the d200 and d300 in the nikon line.
What do people do if they use a full frame camera -- ie., a d700 or d3?

The instructions for the AT8RC state "Your AT8RC is designed primarily for exceptional coma-free imaging using large-format CCD cameras having up to a 35mm chip size."
For the AT6RC it says nothing about this.

yeah, the AT6RC is only spec'd to have a flat imaging circle of ~16-18mm(IIRC).It is a good match with DSI III's,4/3 sensors,etc.. But the AT8RC should be good UPTO full format image sensors. There MIGHT be some minimal Coma to deal with at the VERY edges..but everything I have seen so far from these scope works beautifully with every sensor smaller than 35mm format. Wonderful scope.I cant wait till I can get my hands on one.
