I decided to try and shoot with my Antares f/6.3 reducer on my Meade 8" SCT PLUS the Original Orion Starshoot coupled to my Antares .5X reducer yes...stacked! I used PHD Guiding, my DMK Webcam and Orion ST-80 being my guidescope. I was amazed, despite some vignetting, how wide a field I could get! These images are from 4 to 8 frames, all at 400 seconds each, processed in Maxim DL and touched up in Corel PaintShopPro X2. Here are the East & West Veil, and a portion of the Pacman Nebula. Comments greatly appreciated! This is a "stacked" configuration and I expected some vignetting.
