I just downloaded the Complete guide so haven't looked at it. However, I think it is exactly what I have been looking for. Searching and searching for info on the various types, brands, pros and cons has been very frustrating. So, thank you, thank you for taking the time to put this information together.

Hi, the Meade 4000's are listed as FMC but they aren't suggested as such on any of Meade's official pages.

The Meade website says the Series 4000 QX eyepieces are fully multi-coated.
It also says that about the Series 4000 Plossls, but the page is ancient, so the current situation is less well known.
I've looked at some other sites, but they take their information from Meade.
I don't have a clue what the truth is, and I haven't taken apart a newer Series 4000 Plossl.
If anyone knows the truth, let me know.
Don
