However, I think it is exactly what I have been looking for. Searching and searching for info on the various types, brands, pros and cons has been very frustrating. It also says that about the Series 4000 Plossls, but the page is ancient, so the current situation is less well known. I've looked at some other sites, but they take their information from Meade. I don't have a clue what the truth is, and I haven't taken apart a newer Series 4000 Plossl. If anyone knows the truth, let me know.
