Needed piece of equipment new
      #3360507 - 09/27/09 09:17 PM

I am looking for a piece of equipment and can't really tell from online descriptions if any given piece is what I'm looking for.

I have a d700 that I am imaging with through a Celestron Onyx 80mm. I need a part that will screw into the F-mount on the nikon and screw into the celestron focuser.

I am not keen on hanging my d700 off that back end of a telescope with parts connected with thumb screws. I need some kind of solid "its not going to fall off and come loose" equipement.

Any ideas?

Your best bet is to call Jim at Scopestuff.com. He will probably have what you're looking for, if it exists.

I know how you feel about the thumb screws. I wrap my neck strap around the focuser, just in case.
