High performance ETX 90! new
      #3359177 - 09/27/09 05:31 AM

When viewing near London Heathrow Airport you get used to tempering your expectations of what you can see.

Imagine my suprise when viewing Jupiter on the 24th that I noticed what looked to be a small black pencil 'dot' between the two main belts.

My first thoughts were that a speck of muck was by chance causing this.
A split second later I realized that this was not the case...and I was whtching a transit!!

Checking back later confirmed that the 'dot' was moving across the planet....WOO HOOO!!

Checking Starrynight Pro later that evening I found it to be a transit of Ganemeade (sorry about the spelling!)

This little ETX never ceases to amaze me in it's 'small 'scope' abilities!!
