That's bigger than the New Atlux counterweight shaft , ... which surprised me .... I assumed it would be similar.
So CGE counterweights wont fit on my New Atlux's CW shaft without a specially machined spacer.

Another option. The Meade LXD 750 (not the LXD-75) uses a 1" shaft. Perhaps the LXD 650 does too.
May be a fair number of these around, so maybe a "Wanted" ad would turn one up for you.
