If it is not too late you may want to look at OMI to coat it for you. In addition to coating it he will put it on his null tester and send you ronchi/KE grams of your mirror for free (these are totally *qualitative*).

I know what you mean. It's my first mirror and I know it's not perfect but I still can't wait to get it out under the stars!

Absolutely....If you allow yourself to *think* your first mirror will be everything a perfect mirror is...then you will never enjoy it....cuz you will never finish it.
Good advice has been given....save perfection for further mirrors...letting this one be your footstone to even better and better mirrors.
You will never aquire the needed skills and expertise if you don't permit yourself to use the first mirror as your skills builder.
Good looking mirror...do you have any images of your test shadowgrams...?
