I would like to attempt film exposures of the upcoming LCROSS impact, however the event is slated for 7:30am EST. Do any of you think that it is possible to capture any impact data with this much sunlight given my equipment? If so what shutter speed would be most effective? I've never shot a luner AP during daylight hours.
On another note, I just sent off a roll of E200 for processing. I shot M31 and M57 for almost 4 hours Thursday night. I can't wait to see what I get to work with.

Also waiting to see those results. Your enthusiasm got me going as well.
Capturing the impact? Late news now, but the guys with 11" and larger instruments with power cranked into the hundreds saw ---- NOTHING. Doubtful you would catch anything with that amount of light during the day.
