The Signature Series 15x70 operate at the full 70mm aperture, though. I now realize that this is typical for moderately priced binoculars. Unfortunately the more expensive ones like the Signatures, Ultras etc. that do have effective aperture close to the full advertised aperture, do not have enough eye relief for me.
