Everything went OK and everyone left amazed at how much binoculars can see at night. But, once I got home, I realized that one of the females in the group must have had very long fingernails that seriouly dug into and excavated large chunks out of the rubber CF focuser. It looked as though my dogs had been chewing on the binos all night. Beware! I took them to show the potential of simple binos and I'm REALLY glad I did!!! So much for Rugged Exposure binoculars. The irony! From now on though, I'll make SURE that I'm the only person handling my prized binos.
