Super Giant Prom video from the 26th
      #3375208 - 10/06/09 06:44 PM Attachment (146 downloads)

It would seem that the 26th of September was a really good day for me. I looked up with my scope and saw a huge prom on the Sun. Below is a link to the video of it and also below are a few shots of the monster. Clear Skyz, LA

The CaK shot is absolutely spectacular. Looks like something from SOHO! Amazing work, Larry. Impressive image processing.

Say, Larry. Spent some time at your web site; lots of amazing solar, lunar and planetary images, but there is no indication of what equipment was used. Could you share some specifics on these solar images? Thanks

Larry,
I am absolutely stunned by your CA-k image! Do you have a coronagraph? Michael

Thanks Guys. It took me alot of time to finish this one because I was also working on some Jupiter videos at the same time. Jupiter videos

The 26th and 27th were pretty good days here in Texas. Especially good for Solar viewing. Its odd too because prior to these days it rained for a week and a half staight and since those two days its rained almost everyday or been solid clouds.
