What do you guys think? Will my Gibraltar mount handle a 15 lb. AP130 Gran Turismo scope? The length seems to be not much different and I presently use it with my TV101. Just looking for a good way to use the 130 without hauling out the G11 everytime.... Other suggestions? I do have a Vixen Great Polaris...no drives though...

Will the tube with rings or cradle fit down comfortably between the fork arms?
Additionally, if it does, you want the tube down and centered far enough so that it balances fairly well about the altitude axis. If a tube alone without 2" diagonal and large heavy eyepiece or finder sticking above the tube, this point is for all practical purposes the center line of the tube as seen from the side. If you have heavy accessories on the upper side of the tube, the tube will have to drop a bit further down which may require a cradle extension to get it right. You can partially compensate for any misbalance by tightening up the lock/drag screws at the top of eack fork arm.
