Quick release dovetail?
      #3383349 - 10/11/09 09:17 AM

I recently bought an autoguider (Orion Awesome Autoguider) and I was wandering if there are any quick release dovetail I can buy. I don’t want to srew/unscrew the dovetail each time.

I’ll be mounting it on top of a pair of 6” OTA rings.

Thanks

I leave both my DT's connected to the rings.

Thanks, I tought about that but I don't have a permanent setup so it would cumbersome to move if I were to leave them attached, could try but It's going to be an heavy outfit to move all together

Thanks, I found something on their site but not sure if it will fit. I sent an email hopping for a quick reply.
