hello all
had some time to make a time lapse movie of a prom viisible today. the movie started at 2112 UT and ended at 2237 UT.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TXYSCo_tbbc
the clip is looped 6 times. it was captured at 1 minute intervals and played at 15fps. not a very bright prom, but interesting none the less

Very nice Michael! I've noticed that all of your videos have excellent registration. Are you using Registax to register the processed avi’s and create the videos, or some other program?
Best,
Pat

Great movie. I watched that prom for a while yesterday... it was quite tall but faded rapidly and then got lost as the afternoon seeing declined. Your animation shows it beautifully.

thanks for the nice comments everyone, yes i use registax 5 which has a feature that will save the individual aligned images. after 2 or 3 alignments, a smooth movie is made. just check the "as bmp" box when you sacve the file. i think the next project will be a CaK plage movie.
