Hi Galakuma ! With your help ( your links to japanese telescop-manufacturers ) I found this interesting mount !
http://www.daiichikogaku.ecnet.jp/ct-70.jpg
Can you tell me something about this mount ? It looks very heavy and sturdy. Can I buy this mount in germany or is it only for Japan ?
On the site from the manufacturer I can not find a contact-mail. It's all in japanese written, no english. Do you think, theres a possibilty to contact them ?
Interestingli this mount appears in 1984/85 soon on the german market with BRESSER telescopes. here is a picture from an old catalog. This Blue line telescopes were the high-price telescopes in the BRESSER-line ! But after a few years, this product-line ended and disappeared here in germany.
Kind regards Michael

Michael.
I have a mount seeming to be a proto model of the mount you shown.
I got it at a junk sale of Carton opt.
In fact, I did not know existence of this mount and your mount till then.
I've not saw it being used for other Japanese telescopes.
I think the Blue line telescopes in germany was made by Daiich.
I will try to examine this mount.
Please wait a few days more.

Hi !
Thank you very much for your investigation ! Your mount looks really beautyfull ! Looks like a sturdy, good mount and a little bit like the old Vixen Sensor ( Polaris 3000 ). Meanwhile I have contacted Daiich in english...lets wait, if I get an answer....
Kind regards Michael

Michael I noticed my mistakes. I've known the equatorial mount you showed. It is a KES mount of Kenko. I checked it by a catalogue of 1984's Kenko now. But, I've not think A telescope of HP of Daiichi is the same. This is just discovery.
I know the worker of Daiich. I'll confirm it by an email. There may be a few employees who can understand English. I also confirm it.

Hello Galakuma !
Yes ! You can see on the photo below, that the 2 mounts I have listed are absolutly identical - see specialy the yellow marked area - both mounts have a "knob" there. The mount you have listed has no knob there.
Wonderfull to have you here on CN !!!!

I bought the mount of DK-CT-70, because of I becoming intrested in this.
I heard sales of Daiichi for this mount.
This mount was produced by Towa.
( Please look P3 CT-70 of http://yumarin7.sakura.ne.jp/retrokan/Towa1995.pdf )
When Towa went bankrupt, Daiichi was inherited and sell it.
This mount is bigger than TAKAHASHI/V-1, and simple design, very cheap only about $120.

Hi !
Very interesting ! What do you think about its mechanical quality ? What weight / size of scope can it handle ?
Thanks, Michael
