New Sketches new
      #3385222 - 10/12/09 12:06 PM

Hey guys and gals... I got some decent weather finally and some good sketches I thought I would share. Well... I think their pretty good Please keep in mind... I have never been very good with the Galaxy/Nebula sketches... still working on that. Better at planets and clusters. Below are my sketches (and notes) of Jupiter and Andromeda with M110 to the bottom left.

Ozzy,

I like your sketches and the format of your log pages.
Very cool.

Thanks.. I use the reverse color (black on white vs. white on black) in case I ever want to print one; this way I save on ink. The notes help a lot and I can see slight differences when doing so. One time I actually sketched Mars... and had a bit of a blur in an area... I was disapointed and didn't know what it was, but to my surprise, I saw online the next day or so that there was a report of a sandstorm on Mars that night... Awesome!

Ozzy,

Nicely done. Great way to save on ink.

Ozzy,

Excellent observation os Jupiter (and satellites) and the Andromeda Galaxy (M31 with companion M110). I look forward to your future observations. Thank you for sharing them with us all.

Carlos
