I just pulled the trigger on these. Now the waiting game begins. I can't wait to get some views with these.
Sorry for all those in the Boston area, maybe the sky gods will be benevolent.
I also got a monopod to try out. Never had used one before so anxious to try it. Will be great for the ultimate G&G.

hope you enjoy them as much as i do..did you get the monopod with the grip action head or standard head?

I got the standard head. Wasn't sure what to get so I opted for the lower cost. If it works out well, I may upgrade to a better one.

Just got them last night. Very impressed with the little terrestrial viewing I did. Can't wait for the skies to clear.

It's a very good bino that's for sure. I really like them and they go out on every observing session.

First light was Sunday and I was somewhat disappointed by these. Not sure if a collimation error or just me. Seeing 2 images of a single star that is not right. Tried adjusting IPD, eye relief distances/eye placement and focus with no joy. Clouds came up and curtailed all further viewing.
I tried again tonight and really tried to make the adjustments to the IPD and focus very carefully so I could discount that as being the error.
I understand the eye relief issues and have found the correct placement so as to give comfortable viewing.
What I keep coming away with is the fact that I do see two images, not merged, quite distinctly. I focused on a clear star and saw the image as separated. It looks as the left side is not aligned with the right side. No matter what I try, I keep seeing the star being in 2 places. When I defocus the left side, the blur is clearly above and slightly to the left of the other image. They are not superimposed. I have no one the do a sanity check with as my wife wears glasses and is too disinterested to confirm my dilemma. I even tried the moon, as it was in partial gibbous. That was even separated with two moons set as the star was described.
I have not tried any daytime viewing this time as the real purpose of these were astronomical anyway.
I have used binoculars before and am familiar with what to expect from a lower power, I have a 10x50 pair and used for many years. This is my first pair of real high quality binoculars.
I just went back out with my 10x50's and they show the same star as a single star, with no separation.
I sent the above to Zach at Garrett to see what his response will be. Hopefully there will be a resolution.
Is it me or from my description an indication of mis-collimation in the bins?

It seems evident they are miscollimated....probably knocked out during shipping. 
I'm sure Garrett will make things right.

I did communicate with Zach and we have agreed to let me try to collimate on my own. I have done it in the past with a lesser pair and had success. We agreed that if I cannot get a fox, he would allow me to return them w/o messing up the warranty. Very impressed with his attention and options. I will try to complete and post results.

I got the instructions and finally had some time today to adjust these. Didn't take too much as these were not that bad. I was doing it in daylight against a roof line a ways away and I think I got it. What a difference! Now this was what I was I expecting get with these.
The real test will be to see how the stars look. I was apprehensive doing it as they were new and expensive and didn't want to mess them up further.
Details on adjustments from Zach were spot on and extremely helpful. I have done this will lesser bins and now have the experience with these.
Just wanted to post to let you all know.
