Some scraps on the tripod but no rust or bare metal. Original Manual What is the above worth? I'm thinking about the CG-5 ASGT on sale at OPT for $575. I want to do some low end astrophotography with a DLSR or maybe Hyperstar down the road. Will this be a decent upgrade or should I look at the CGEM/Atlas? For your GEM upgrade consider CGEM, Losmandy, or Vixen. remember that you're at a long focal length with a c8 so you'll want a good mount. I would estimate the market value at around $1,000 for the whole package, maybe more if I knew what generation c8 it is. The computer should be worth between $100 and $200.
