My question is this: when looking through the polar scope of a HEQ5 Pro and using Jason Dales's "Polar Finder" software to assist with alignment do I use "show view through telescope option" to position Polaris or do I leave the box unchecked and use that view. It provides an excellent tutorial on polar aligning an Orion GEM (any Orion GEM!). Eqmod also has many other good features.
