Hi,
Going to a dark site tonight and will be guiding but was Wondering about PEC and PHD working together in harmony
I never tried this not even when I used my Eq-6 (for sale BTW)SALE
Pixels errors usually remain < .4pixels unless a gust of wind comes up. Thanks for any tips or tricks I assume the Pec takes about 8 minutes to program

At this point, still not sure the CG5 DOES use the PEC uploaded to it with PEC tools. See this thread for some info http://www.cloudynights.com/ubbthreads/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/3371027/page/3/view/collapsed/sb/5/o/all/fpart/1/vc/1 Good luck though...

Greg,
Gut feeling: it's two drivers trying to drive a car at the same time.
PHD has no info on what's about to happen by PEC adjustment while PEC will adjust the mount independent on what PHD is about to do.
Clear Skies!

I agree. If it was not designed to accomodate PEC during guiding, they could work against each other rather than help.
