This is the tentative finsihed product. I put my mirror in it the other night, I have to do some fine tuning with my floatation system. The rungs came from a discarded desk. I cut them to size, and had them welded together. I did thread the rungs but later decided to have nuts welded on top instead. I used "The Book" extensively for ideas and guidance, because I am working with an existing mirror box, I had to work out a few things on my own. The cell clocks in at 8.2 pounds. Mirror is 22.8. If i make a 5 pound mirror box I would be happy.

I used O-rings and linatex rubber washers along with the strategic Kriege and Berry gaps. Has anyone else used O-rings? This is my first attempt at a mirror cell. Any thoughts, ideas and criticism are welcomed.

I have 1 o-ring on top between the head of the screw and the triangle, and one underneath the triangle between the triangle and the nut. I also left a tiny gap on the top. The bars have an o-ring on top as well as a gap. I had to cut the lock nut in half so it doesn't hit the mirror( The Book). I also used a flat washer on the bottom of the bar and a linatex rubber washer on top of that.
