M45 - The Seven Sisters (Pleiades), RGB new
      #3387913 - 10/13/09 07:38 PM

Frankly, I was surprised to see captured the blue nebulosity surrounding Pleiades from my suburban skyes located around 40kms from the city. You never get bored observing the Seven Sisters: Alcyone, Electra, Maia, Merope, Taygete, Celaeno and Asterope.

M45 - Pleiades - Taurus
20x180s @ 800ISO (1hrs), IDAS LPS II, 350D no IR-cut filter

Taken from Madrid (Spain), october de 2009.

Very nice. You captured lots of nebulosity in just 1 hour of exposure.

Thanks.
To be honest my astrophoto site is not in the city, but near in a village located 38kms away, called Valdemorillo. Light pollution is not as high as in the city, althought it's far from ideal.
