I like the sound of this...not the ker'ching! sound...but switching between modules puts this firmly into the user friendly MO! Any idea on UK pound prices and will the scope be able to take a tuning to a wider bandpass say 1.5-0.65Ang.?
Too many thoughts...

Rikki --

Any idea yet on weight and tube length?

Will it be possible to get a CaK-only version at a reduced cost?

Thanks,
-- Jeff.

Hi solarGain,
The European dealers will have to figure in the freight and import charges for their retail cost. I would check out their websites or shoot them an email. A list of our UK dealers is on our website.
As for switching Angstroms, the standard model is at <0.65A and you can double stack it with either a LS100FHa or our LS160FHa.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Thank you,
Rikki Hocking

Hi Jeff,
The weight of the scope is about 27lbs and the length is 35" long.
I will have to get back to you on the CaK option by itself with pricing. You will be able to remove the Ha etalon module and replace it with a CaK module but I don't have pricing on that yet.
Thank you,

I'd be happy if you just filled your 60mm orders. I've been waiting since May '08.

Hello Rikki,
I would be curious to know if this great tool can give us images like those of our friend Luca
A question a bit naughty, but I'm sure that with the quality of Lunt you have no difficulty to answer

Hi Geremia,
I think there are a lot of people taking amazing images with many different Ha products from different vendors. It’s not a naughty question but its difficult to answer because we are talking about two different set ups with different specifications and then you have to throw in that Luca is a very talented imager. Even with the same raw images I know I could not get the same amazing results that he does.
I would have you take a look at some of the examples posted here of the Lunt products. Such as, http://www.cloudynights.com/ubbthreads/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/3417859/page/0/view/collapsed/sb/5/o/all/fpart/1#Post3418003

This is thru a LS100FHa that is a smaller aperture than the LS152THa and its band pass is <0.75A where the LS152THa is <0.65A.
So I know you will be very happy with the LS152THa and get amazing images. Get yours and show us what you can do.

Thank you,
Rikki Hocking
