A couple of really nice shots you got there , I think thats a combo of the dark site and that scope.
So you might have to do that again

I Was a little disapointed at the outcome. I also took Helix and M33 with my CCD They seemed to yield more signal but to be fair the Star shoot II is Tec cooled....
I need to do longer exposure get out out maybe 8 to ten minutes not sure my CG-5 can do

Well DSLRs seem to benifit from a giant pile of subs more then CCD , so you could just add another 20-30 4 min subs and 30-40 darks and bias and ill bet you could do more stretching to get what you want.
Temps should be cooling down now in AZ right?

More of both would have been better Thanks I may even go out 8-10 minutes as I tried last PM with M31 Here is the result only 2 8 minutes subs and one dark + 5 flats And yes finally arizona is getting cooler
