This could be a blast from the past? late 1970's? only the price is reflecting 2009.

My old circle T Bushnell Skychief III looks just like it, infact I think it's the same scope. Yes it does have excellent optics, hardwood tripod, no plastic, same reflex finder.
Are these new old stock from nearly 30yrs ago?

At that price it definitely could be NOS. They're probably tired of warehousing this stuff because at that price they can't sell any! Mike

I believe there is one currently selling on Ebay at the mere pittance of $499.... what a deal!

Or could Towa still be making this same old scope for Parks?
My University Optics Orthos are the same circle T ep's as my 30yr old ones.

An interesting perspective is for that $2K you could buy a very nice used but complete Zeiss or Unitron outfit... and still have change.

Egads! You could buy a Zeiss Telementor II PLUS a Unitron 142 for that price - wink, wink ;-)
I think someone at Parks is smoking something funny ;-)
Hey - anyone want to buy a set of 5 Parks plossls for $1500?
