Hi,
two days ago, I was another night under the stars. The first object after the ending of the dawn was the pelican nebula. I made images with all scopes, parallel alighned: Genesis, E 200 and the 12"ACF. The smaller scopes have two modded 350, the ACF had the 20 Da, modded. I took 5 subs aī8min with the ACF, then I changed to NGC 7814, taking more subs.
Wheanwhile appeared in south beside jupiter a strange glow, getting higher (Speed like a satellite). The cloud had now reached zenith and had a very bright point at the end. This was followed by a mysterious cloud with two big halos. At the end, opposite of the bright cloud, was another object. I was well adapted, to see this:
It was a part of a rocket, spreading out its fuel and followed by the other part of this rocket.
Spectacular!!!
But the main thing was: The halo didnīt exposed my subs!
So, have a view on the central region of the Pelican. You will need a good monitor, to see all the dust streams. I do not want to blow up the image.
The other image was made with the E 200, 10x5min. subs
Comments are welcome: Bruno
