here is 5 exposures, 10 mins each
tec 200 / eos 40d

I can tell it would take a lot more exposures to dig into that dust.

Mike,

What a nebula. Like a veil in the sky. Great job.

Very good tight shot of the Iris , the colors are showing well and the cloud structure looks awesome.

10 min subs seem to be a starting point for this one since its so dim and your right the next step is lots of them.

Nice job. This is one TOUGH subject for sure. I've got subs sitting on my PC doing nothing 'cause I just couldn't get it processed right. I come back to it every so often and never get it. More data I suppose.

Very nice picture. I tried this one the other night and didn't get much. May have to give it another try soon.

Good start, ye I reckon at least 10 mins subs, so tracking gotta be spot on especially at 2000mm+ f/l. Losing a bunch of 10 min subs isnt exactly cherishing!

I'm still digging into this object, getting a bit deeper. I should dedicate a night to it and be done.

That looks great. I can't wait for the clouds to get out of here so I can go out and try that target.
