... observed this morning with D. Booth ... a three-second transit ... ISS appeared to be 17 arcseconds across.

That is so cool! It gives a bit more perspective on how small our little station really is...
I'd imagine it is very difficult to plan for an ISS transit?

Spaceweather, Heavens-Above, and Cal Sky all provide information for observing the ISS and other satellites.
