Apparently Sue French, the author of "Deepsky Wonders" in Sky and Telescope magazine came across it and described it in a recent issue. The asterism really does look like an Alice in Wonderland toadstool. The galaxy NGC-7025 is very easy to make out despite it's small size and apparent magnitude of 13 from the light polluted and hazy Gulf Coast skies with a 10-inch. The galaxy is easier to see than I expected, but being small and condensed made this 13th magnitude galaxy easier than others I looked for. The nearby NGC-6928 and 6930 were definitely harder to find than this one. Now if I could get the skies to clear here I'd take a look for it. Did you try for NGC 6905 the Blue Flash Planetary? It's not an easy object for a 6-inch, but it's doable. I've found it a lot easier to see with a 10-inch, but I never saw any hint of a bluish color in it. It's a gray fuzzy disk to me. I didn't look for it at the time I made this sketch, I was looking for galaxies in the general area. It was apparently first noted by Sue French or Bruno Alessi back in 1997. Sue French's discovery is an interesting one and it does have the appearance of a "toadstool." Thank you for sharing it with us all.
