      #3396829 - 10/18/09 07:16 PM

Hi,

This picture was taken last friday from the catalan Pyrenees at the north-east of Spain. It was a cold and dry night, although the seeing was not very good.
Details of the shot:
19x10' @ ISO 800 with a cooled 350D
WO Megrez 88FD on mount EQ6
Stacked with DSS and processed with PixInsight

Very nice shot. I really like the composition. Barnards Loop adds that little something to make it an extraordinary shot!

Wow, it looks as though you are peering through a haze on the lower right, which is exactly what it is with all that dust and gas. Very nice composition and color.

Btw, what's that small brown object at the top left, is that just some rogue dust?

Thanks all you guys for your kind comments!!

Agnotio, you are a good observer, yes it was a dust particle on the sensor. I callibrated the exposures with flats frames, but it seems they were not sufficient to get rid of that dust

Beautiful image worthy of framing. The brown dust and gas is sooo well processed. I've shot M78 before, and get greys and blacks and blues in there. I like it brown like you have!
