Other than ADM, does anyone else carry those nice orange (or any other color) 3/8 - 16 knob screws used to attach the electronic pier and the equatorial mount? I can't justify spending $12 per screw by the time it's shipped to me.
Thanks guys.

Here is the ultimate Hardware Store. www.McMaster-Carr.com They have over 480,000 items in stock and screws are one of their best items. Log on to the site, on the left side click on "Fastening & Joining", then on "Screws", then on "About Button Head Socket Head Cap Screws". There are two pages of them. They come in stainless, black oxide, plaited, brass and others. In stainless 3/8"-16 X 1/2" cost is $6.53 for 10 In 3/4" length they are $5.38 per 10. These are full threaded. They also have shoulder and self locking.
They will sell any number from 1 to whatever. Don't know what shipping is for these but it was not bad the last time I ordered. Put this with other screws you need and shipping won't matter.
You might also try Scope stuff under "Threaded Things".
Luck, Bill

Thanks to David and Bill for your suggestions.
I'm going to go with ScopeStuff, they have the larger size rosette knob thumbscrews 3/8-16-3/4 package of 3 for $9.00 -which includes shipping. The black knobs are probably made of plastic and aren't as nice as ADM's but they are just as functional as the higher price ADM price. The savings will be applied elsewhere. Thanks again.
