Anyway it's good practice for December. Disc blank in white light. In CaK there are a number of plages but none are really prominent. 2009 Oct 21, 0855 UT. PST CaK @ f/10 There are small plages visible in Ha at the position of the "sharper" CaK plages, but the main Ha disc feature remains the old active area, now approaching the SW limb: 2009 Oct 21, 0906 UT. Solarscope 60 @ f/16 There is a small but unusually bright double prominence on the northern limb 2009 Oct 21, 0907 UT. Solarscope 60 @ f/16 and a complex area of prominence activity on the south eastern limb - is a new active area about to rotate into view? 2009 Oct 21, 0909 UT.
