M45 - The Pleiades new
      #3402828 - 10/21/09 06:27 PM

Hi,

This shot was taken the night of the friday 16th of October. The processing of this object has been a bit difficult for me, but finally I'm satisfied with the result I've got.

Details of the shot:
16x10'subs @ ISO 800 with a cooled Canon 350D
Callibrated with darks, flats and darkflats
WO Megrez 88FD on mount SW EQ6
Place: catalan Pyrenees, north east of Spain.
Stacked with DSS and procesed with PixInsight

Cheers,
Sergi

Very nice, especially the wispy contrast in the nebulosity. Good Job!

A beauty! You managed a lot of outter nebulosity, I really like how you've presented it as well. Congrats!

Very nicely done - great nebulosity and star color as well. The framing and orientation makes it look like a bird or butterfly in flight. Don't usually see it in this orientation.

It looks like it was worth all the extra effort , very well done.

I think the outer bits really add something.
