How's Zhumell's Tachyon 25x100?
      #3407129 - 10/23/09 09:37 PM

This binocular is quite cheap. However, I heard its optical quality was awful. I want to use is for DSOs. Does it work for that purpose? How about for viewing birds? Thank you in advance.

Enough said, don't you think?

You can search back a year or two and find many sagas with extremely low cost 20X80 and 25X100 binos, but why bother.... Unless you live within a few miles of the seller don't mind making several trips to return them till you get a good sample.

I usually get on a bike to make short trips in warm weather. At least I burn a few cals in the process. :-))
