Earlier this month I took a roll of Konica Centuria Pro 400 (discontinued) out of the freezer to do some tests. I have some results to share. This image was done with my "new" 75MM F/4.5 SMC TAKUMAR lens and was 50 minutes in duration with the lens wide open. The lens exhibited some aberrations in the far corners and had a small amount of vignetting, but not too bad. I found the lens very sharp and worked very nice at 5.6 and beyond. The Konica film is not the best stuff to test this lens as it is fairly grainy. I have a roll of E200 going on right now that will better do the job.
Anyway, here is the 50 minute exposure, 75mm f/4.5 on Konica Centuria Pro 400. The frame covers southern Cygnus through Aquila.
Enjoy!

Nice. Here is a scan of a slide I took a number of years ago with my Pentax K1000 using Kodak Ektachrome. I used the standard 50mm lens set at f/2.8 for 20 minutes.

Very nice John, your frame covers nearly the same area and shows Barnards "E" as well.
Thanks for posting!

Thanks. I never realized that Barnards E was in there. Is it center left?

It's located about halfway from center to left, just right of Tarazed. Compare with my photo as it stands out more.
