      #3409446 - 10/25/09 07:27 AM Attachment (24 downloads)

hey folks

yesterday was not just the day...but it was an awesome day! as the sky became darker after 10pm..I kept wondering what target to shoot!!?!??everything was blocked...except that nebula above Capella! ...

shot details:3 hours and 14 minutes
89 frames,2 mins at iso 400 and 3 mins at ISO 400..36 dark frames(30 ISO 400,2 minutes and 6 ISO 400 3 minutes) explains the noise!)30flats!

stack with DSS and PS!!!

here is my first attempt at that nebula!

full size picture here!

Very nice image, with good red details for an unmodded DSLR.

Now your cookin Max! That's a great shot. Lot's of details etc... Good work putting the time in too. Sometimes I find it hard to stick to a target when something else pops into view.

Just proves that modded cams rule where it comes to red nebulae - nice job.
