It's Sunday and I'm extra lazy today. So researching is on hold. Can someone tell me who owns the Tasco trademark? Because I'm seeing numerous Tasco cheapies cropping up everywhere on different vendor's sights. Mike

I thought Tasco went bankrupt back in 2002. Who is this company with a current website www.tasco.com? Who actually runs this outfit now? Any legal experts out there? Mike

As I recall, Bushnell bought the name (but nothing else).

Nothing much else to buy. Once Celestron was gone, all there was was the name "Tasco" (well, maybe some office equipment). Tasco itself never, ever made a thing. The current Tasco really ain't much different from the Tasco of the 80s - 90s, and that was only different from the Tasco of the 50s - 60s in the quality of the gear they chose to import.

Pretty much. Some outfit in Florida bought the contents of repair shop (parts & pieces, test gear, etc.).
