This is very nice!
This was just the camera and normal lens right? I mean, it was not a 300mm telescope, but a 300mm camera lens. Also, was it sitting on a mount, or just a stationary tripod? I'm thinking of getting an adapter to mount my DSLR directly on my CPC800 OTA for tracking .. just did not know what to expect.

Hi Bert,
You've got a very nice image but this is a enormous rich field which deserves more exposure to improve the contrast and get rid of that noise. Anyway, you've done a very good HDR composition, the stars look really nice.
Good job! Sergi

Very nice picture. A nice wide field of Orion's belt and sword is on my list of things to do this winter. Thanks for the inspiration.

Great Image Bert! I too hope you continue to add to it as the background gas & dust is just starting to peep through.
