Fridge at -10C. Exposures. 10x( 1m, 2m ) at 400ISO, 10x( 1m, 2m ) and 14x(4m, 8m ) at 1600 ISO. Usual HDR method. Note how the belt stars are not blown out. This was just the camera and normal lens right? I mean, it was not a 300mm telescope, but a 300mm camera lens. Also, was it sitting on a mount, or just a stationary tripod? I'm thinking of getting an adapter to mount my DSLR directly on my CPC800 OTA for tracking .. just did not know what to expect. Anyway, you've done a very good HDR composition, the stars look really nice. Good job!
