It works very well - only problem I found was that it tends to "shed" material over time. It helps to take some packaging tape and de-shed it before applying it to a tube. (For example, take a 14" long strip of packaging tape, apply it to the black side of the paper, press it down, then lift it back off - all the extra black "fuzzies" come off on the tape, and the well-stuck ones stay behind as "good" flocking material.) Here's before and after pictures. You can tell that the camera had to take a longer exposure for the flocked version, because the objects outside of the telescope tube are brighter, meaning the darker interior required a longer exposure time.
