at least those are pretty : ) many times the aurora here is just like skyfog, the entire area brightens up with no designs, no curtains, etc. Sometimes 1/2 the sky will flicker on and off rapidly, that is quite a sight.

Thanks for the comments, I guess they are pretty beautiful:) I don't get the chance to image them very often, because when its dark and there are no clouds my camera is attached to the telescope, perfectly aligned and shooting something. So i don't want to screw up the alignment and my flats..
